In this series of four paintings, I am showing what the future of space exploration could look like. Each illustration is about the permanence, innovation, and colonization of Mars. The narrative is about an astronaut that is seeing the destruction of Earth and the revitalization of Mars. Viewers can imagine that they have traveled to see this new world. Another perspective to explore is the static view of the ISS. That is the only image without an astronaut. Right now there is not much potential for sustaining life on Mars. This is a dreery but idealized perspective that Earth has rapidly progressed in their technological advancements. The rocket model is based on Starship. I have seen the rocket launches in person in South Padre, Texas. The experience allowed me to come up with this idea.
