This is a series of five and is made up of four layers using stone lithography. They are bleed prints, so the image takes up the lower margin. I illustrated how my bathroom had felt in my college apartment. With not much room to do my makeup, I always ended up in the bathroom. All my products would fall in the center of the sink. What should of been a luxurious ritual, became annoying as I also saw bugs. Makeup is a ritual I practice everyday to help me feel confident and clean. There is an eerie side of this experience added to by the creepy critters. Even the mirror is a roach.

These are the individual layers, separated with different emphasizes on the space within the illustration. I included the original design, printed in black. I used salt to make the reticulating texture in the sink and the blue on the mirror.
